Stroke and Brain Injury Functional Rehabilitation

Chris Burford is an ARNI (Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury) Instructor and delivers functional rehabilitation training to people suffering from the effects of stroke and other brain injuries which have resulted in partial paralysis.

Stroke essentially is a 'brain attack' and statistically, causes a greater range of disabilities than any other condition each year. There are more than 150,000 strokes in the UK and there are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK at any one time.

The aim of rehabilitation is to help stroke survivors overcome and cope in the long term with the damage caused.
